Biagi is an Italian painter originally born in Ravenna. Shortly after graduating from the Milan school of art, Biagi moved to Los Angeles, California. While in LA, Biagi was visually seduced by the tar pits and began utilizing tar as a medium. This unique medium, along with the combination of Italian traditional art and American culture has made Biagi one of the most unique artists today. He has been featured in various museums and galleries including The Mint Museum of Craft, and his debut showcase in the Deborah Page Gallery.
